Emilio Jacinto

Emilio Jacinto was a Filipino revolutionary and key figure in the Philippines' fight for independence from Spain in the late 19th century. Often called the "Brains of the Katipunan," a secret society leading the independence movement, he was known for his intelligence, leadership, and writing. Jacinto authored important documents and the organization’s founding principles, inspiring Filipinos to unite and resist colonial rule. Despite his young age—died at 24—his strategic thinking and dedication made a lasting impact on Philippine history.
