EMI Shielding
EMI shielding involves using materials or structures to block or reduce electromagnetic interference—unwanted radio waves or signals—that can disrupt electronic devices. By creating a barrier, such as a metal enclosure or conductive coating, EMI shielding prevents external signals from affecting sensitive electronics and stops internal signals from causing interference with other devices. This ensures devices operate reliably and safely, especially in environments with many electronic systems. Essentially, EMI shielding protects electronic equipment by controlling how electromagnetic energy is contained or deflected.
