Emergent Theory

Emergent theory explains how complex systems or patterns arise from the interactions of simpler parts, which themselves follow basic rules. These larger behaviors or structures aren’t programmed directly but emerge naturally from these interactions. For example, the flocking of birds or the formation of traffic jams results from simple rules followed by individuals, yet produce unpredictable, large-scale patterns. Emergent theory helps us understand how small-scale actions lead to complex, organized phenomena without a central control, highlighting the interconnectedness and unpredictability of many natural and social systems.
