Emeka Okafor is a retired Nigerian-American professional basketball player known for his strong defense, rebounding, and shot-blocking abilities. Standing about 6'10", he played as a center and was highly regarded for his work ethic and impact on both offense and defense. Okafor was the NCAA Player of the Year at the University of Connecticut and was selected second overall in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats.
