EmDrive (formerly known as Electromagnetic Drive)
The EmDrive is a theoretical propulsion device that claims to generate thrust by bouncing microwaves within a specially shaped cavity, supposedly creating a tiny imbalance that pushes the device forward without using fuel or ejecting mass. It operates on the principle of converting electromagnetic energy into directional force. However, despite some experimental claims, mainstream scientists question its plausibility because it appears to violate established physics laws, such as conservation of momentum. As of now, the EmDrive remains experimental and unproven, and its true viability as a propulsion method is still under investigation.
