Eliphaz

Eliphaz is a character from the Book of Job in the Bible, known as one of Job's three friends who visit him during his suffering. He is depicted as a wise, experienced man and a member of the Edomite tribe. Eliphaz represents the traditional view that suffering is a punishment for sin, encouraging Job to repent.
