Eli Cohen was an Israeli spy and agent who gathered crucial information from Syria in the 1960s. Posing as a Syrian businessman, he gained trust among Syrian officials, providing Israel with strategic intelligence that contributed to military successes. Unfortunately, Cohen was captured by Syrian authorities in 1965, tried for espionage, and executed in 1965.
