Electrostatic Precipitators

Electrostatic precipitators are devices used to remove fine particles like dust and soot from industrial exhaust gases. They work by ionizing the particles in the gas stream using electric charges, causing the particles to become negatively or positively charged. These charged particles are then attracted to and collected on oppositely charged plates or surfaces within the device. Periodically, the collected buildup is removed, ensuring cleaner air is released into the environment. Electrostatic precipitators are efficient, especially for large-scale industrial pollution control, helping reduce airborne contaminants and improve air quality.
