Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC)
The Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) is a collaborative effort among states to improve the accuracy and completeness of voter registration data. It securely shares and compares information like voter registrations and of voter rolls across participating states. This helps ensure that voter lists are current, reduces errors, and prevents duplicate registrations. ERIC also assists states in identifying eligible voters who may not be registered. Overall, it enhances the integrity, efficiency, and security of the voter registration process nationwide.
