Electron Sharing
Electron sharing refers to the way two atoms bond by exchanging or sharing electrons in their outermost energy levels. Instead of one atom completely transferring electrons to another (as in ionic bonds), they form a stable connection by sharing electrons, creating a covalent bond. This sharing allows each atom to achieve a full outer shell, resulting in a more stable structure. Think of it like two people sharing a set of tools to complete a project—you keep some tools, I keep some, but together we have what we need to get the job done efficiently.
