Electromagnetic field
An electromagnetic field is a region around electric and magnetic objects where forces can act on charged particles. Electric fields are created by electric charges, while magnetic fields arise from moving charges or magnetic materials. These fields are interconnected and can propagate as waves—called electromagnetic waves—covering a wide spectrum like light, radio, and X-rays. Electromagnetic fields enable many technologies, such as wireless communication, electricity transmission, and medical imaging. They are fundamental to understanding how energy and information transfer in our universe, playing a key role in both natural phenomena and modern technological devices.
