Electroluminescent materials
Electroluminescent materials are substances that emit light when an electric current passes through them. They contain special compounds that excite atoms, causing them to release energy as visible light. These materials are commonly used in displays, signage, and lighting because they can produce bright, uniform illumination with low power consumption. Unlike traditional bulbs, electroluminescent materials don't get very hot and can be made into flexible, thin layers. Their ability to glow when energized makes them useful for creating vibrant, energy-efficient lighting and indicator panels.
