Electric vehicle propulsion
Electric vehicle (EV) propulsion uses electric motors powered by rechargeable batteries to move the vehicle. When you press the accelerator, the battery supplies electrical energy to the motor, which converts it into mechanical energy to turn the wheels. Unlike traditional gasoline engines, EV motors are efficient, produce instant torque for quick acceleration, and operate quietly. The batteries are charged through external power sources, and regenerative braking helps recover some energy when slowing down. This system offers a cleaner, energy-efficient alternative to conventional cars, with fewer moving parts and reduced emissions.
