Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging
Electric vehicle (EV) charging is the process of replenishing the battery that powers an EV. It involves connecting the vehicle to an electrical power source, which transfers electricity to the battery. There are different levels of charging: Level 1 uses standard household outlets for slow charging; Level 2 requires specialized stations for faster charging; and DC fast charging provides rapid energy transfer suitable for quick top-ups. Charging stations can be found at homes, workplaces, and public locations, enabling EVs to operate efficiently and reduce reliance on fossil fuels while minimizing emissions.
