Elbow Fracture Management

Elbow fracture management involves diagnosing the extent of the break through X-rays, then stabilizing and aligning the bones, often with immobilization using a cast or brace. In more severe cases, surgery may be needed to realign and secure the broken bones with plates or screws. Rest and movement are carefully managed during recovery to promote healing and restore function. Physical therapy may be recommended afterward to regain strength and mobility. The goal is to ensure the bones heal correctly, minimize complications, and restore as much normal use of the arm as possible.
