Elastic IP

An Elastic IP is a static public IP address assigned to your cloud resources, like a virtual server, in platforms like AWS. Unlike regular IPs that might change if the server restarts, an Elastic IP remains fixed. This allows you to reliably connect to your server even if you need to move it or restart it. It gives you control over the IP address, making your website or service consistently reachable, and provides flexibility to switch the underlying server without changing the address users use to access it.
