Einsteins (cognitive development theory)
Einstein's cognitive development theory emphasizes that children's thinking evolves through active exploration and problem-solving, building understanding over time. As they encounter new experiences, they reorganize their mental frameworks—called schemas—to adapt to their environment. This process of adjusting schemas is called assimilation and accommodation. Development occurs in stages, with each stage characterized by different ways of thinking. Essentially, children are like scientific explorers, constantly testing and refining their ideas to better understand the world around them. Einstein believed that curiosity and engagement are key drivers in cognitive growth, leading to more sophisticated reasoning as children mature.
