Eight Teachings

The Eight Teachings are guiding principles from Buddhist traditions aimed at cultivating wisdom, compassion, and ethical living. They include: 1) Not interfering with others’ karma, respecting their spiritual journey; 2) Acknowledging that negative emotions and suffering are natural; 3) Recognizing that fixing ourselves is the key to improving the world; 4) Developing patience to endure hardships; 5) Being generous and kind to reduce attachment and selfishness; 6) Living truthfully, avoiding deceit; 7) Respecting all living beings; and 8) Cultivating mindful awareness to foster inner peace. These teachings promote a balanced, compassionate life.
