Eight Limbs

The Eight Limbs are principles from yoga philosophy that guide a balanced and ethical life. They include ethical guidelines (Yama and Niyama), physical practices (Asana or postures), breath control (Pranayama), and sensory withdrawal (Pratyahara). They also encompass concentration (Dhyana), meditation (Dhyana), and a state of pure consciousness (Samadhi). Together, these limbs help individuals develop self-awareness, discipline, and inner peace, fostering a holistic approach to well-being that integrates mind, body, and spirit.
