Ego and Object

In psychology, "ego" refers to the part of our mind that mediates between our conscious self, desires, and reality, helping us make rational decisions and maintain a sense of identity. An "object" typically represents a person or thing outside of ourselves that we relate to emotionally or psychologically. For example, a parent or a partner can be considered an "object" of affection or influence. Understanding these terms helps us see how our inner mental processes (ego) interact with our relationships and experiences with others (objects).
