EDS spectra

EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy) spectra are results from a technique that identifies the elements present in a material. When a sample is examined, it emits characteristic X-rays for each element, which are detected and displayed as peaks on a spectrum. The height and position of these peaks tell scientists which elements are in the sample and in what relative amounts. This method helps analyze materials’ composition quickly and accurately, providing detailed elemental information useful in research, quality control, and material development.
