
Edmund Hillary
Sir Edmund Hillary was a New Zealand mountaineer and explorer, best known for being one of the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest, alongside Tenzing Norgay, on May 29, 1953. Their historic ascent made them global icons and symbolized human determination and spirit.
