Edith Godwinson

Edith Godwinson was the daughter of King Edward the Confessor of England, born in the 11th century. She was part of the royal family during a tumultuous time leading up to the Norman Conquest. Although not much personal information survives, her family connections made her a notable figure in English history. Her life and lineage provide insight into the royal struggles and political dynamics of Anglo-Saxon England just before the Norman invasion in 1066.
