Economía Pública, or Public Economics, studies how government policies affect the economy and society. The goal is to improve economic efficiency and equity—making sure resources are used effectively and benefits are fairly distributed. Public Economics also analyzes issues like income inequality, market failures, and the sustainability of public finances. It provides a framework for evaluating the impact of government actions on economic well-being and helps design policies that promote social welfare.
