Ebru technique

Ebru, also known as paper marbling, is an ancient art form where pigments are floated on water to create intricate, colorful patterns. Artists prepare a viscous liquid, often with natural dyes and special oxides, and carefully manipulate the floating colors using tools or brushes to form swirls, flowers, or abstract designs. A sheet of paper is then gently laid onto the surface, capturing the pattern as it transfers onto the paper. This technique results in unique, vibrant artworks characterized by fluid, organic designs, blending artistry with a precise understanding of how colors interact on the water's surface.
