Eblaite language

Eblaite was an ancient Semitic language spoken around 2500–2250 BCE in Ebla, a city in modern Syria. It’s part of the same language family as Arabic and Hebrew, sharing many linguistic features. Eblaite is known mainly from clay tablets written in cuneiform script, used for administrative, economic, and diplomatic records. It provides valuable insights into early Semitic languages and the culture of ancient Syrian city-states. While not a widely spoken language today, Eblaite is significant for understanding the history and linguistic development of the Semitic language family.
