Easter Computus

Easter Computus is the method used to determine the date of Easter each year. Since Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, it is observed on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the spring equinox (around March 21). Because the lunar cycle and calendar dates don't align perfectly, calculating Easter involves complex calculations that account for both the solar year (the equinox) and the lunar month. Different Christian traditions may use slightly different rules, but generally, Computus ensures Easter is celebrated in spring, commemorating the timing of the resurrection event.
