East Prussia
East Prussia was a historical region located on the southeastern shore of the Baltic Sea, primarily part of modern-day Poland and Lithuania. It was once a part of the Kingdom of Prussia and later became part of Germany. Known for its rich cultural heritage, it had a diverse population, including Germans, Poles, and Lithuanians. After World War II, it was heavily affected by border changes, resulting in the displacement of many residents. Today, it’s recognized for its historical significance, including its role in military conflicts and its cultural contributions, although it no longer exists as a distinct political entity.
