East African Community (EAC)

The East African Community (EAC) is a regional organization that promotes economic integration and cooperation among six East African countries: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Established to boost trade, improve infrastructure, and foster peace, the EAC aims to create a unified market with free movement of goods, people, and services. By working together, member states seek to enhance development, reduce poverty, and strengthen regional stability, making East Africa more competitive and prosperous on the global stage.
