Earth-Moon L2
Earth-Moon L2 is a special point in space located beyond the Moon, opposite Earth. At this point, gravitational forces from Earth and the Moon balance with the motion of an object, allowing it to stay steadily in place relative to Earth and the Moon. It’s an ideal location for satellites or space stations to observe the Moon and Earth continuously without drifting away. Because of this balance, objects here require minimal energy to maintain their position, making L2 useful for space telescopes, communication relays, and lunar exploration support.
