Earth Law

Earth Law, also called Rights of Nature, recognizes that the Earth—its ecosystems, rivers, forests, and all living beings—has intrinsic rights similar to humans. It shifts legal focus from exploiting nature for human benefit to respecting and protecting the environment’s health and balance. This legal approach aims to establish rules that ensure nature’s well-being, allowing ecosystems to thrive naturally and be restored when harmed. By doing so, Earth Law promotes sustainability, environmental justice, and a healthier planet for current and future generations.
