Early medieval history

Early medieval history, approximately from the 5th to the 10th century, marks the period after the fall of the Roman Empire. It saw the rise of various kingdoms across Europe, such as the Franks, Saxons, and Visigoths, amid shifting political borders and cultural transformations. This era included the spread of Christianity, the development of feudal societies, and increased ruralization. It was a time of frequent warfare, migration, and cultural blending, laying foundations for medieval Europe. Despite often being called the "Dark Ages," it was also a period of significant change, innovation, and the formation of institutions that influenced future European development.
