Early Christian Texts

Early Christian texts are writings from the first few centuries after Jesus's life, including biblical books like the Gospels, letters (epistles), and other documents that shape Christian beliefs. They provide insights into the beliefs, practices, debates, and community life of early Christians. These texts were often written in Greek or Latin and help us understand how Christianity developed from a small Jewish sect into a widespread religion. They include both canonical scriptures, accepted by most Christians, and non-canonical writings, which provide additional historical and theological perspectives.
