E-2 Visa

The E-2 Visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows foreign nationals to invest in and operate a business in the United States. To qualify, the applicant must be from a country that has a treaty with the U.S., and must invest a substantial amount of capital in a U.S. enterprise. This visa permits the investor to live in the U.S. while managing their business. It can also allow certain employees of the business to enter the U.S. under specific conditions. The E-2 Visa is typically granted for up to two years, with the possibility of renewal.
