E-2 Hawkeye

The E-2 Hawkeye is a large, mainly gray aircraft used by the U.S. Navy for airborne early warning and command. It features a distinctive rotating radar dome (radome) on top that allows it to detect and track multiple aircraft, ships, and threats at long distances. Its primary role is to provide situational awareness, control drone and fighter operations, and coordinate defense strategies from the air. Essentially, it acts as a flying radar and command center, helping military units respond promptly to emerging threats and maintain battlefield awareness.
