Dysphasia
Dysphasia, also known as aphasia, is a language disorder resulting from damage to parts of the brain responsible for language. It affects a person's ability to understand speech, speak clearly, read, or write, depending on the severity and location of the brain injury. Dysphasia is often caused by stroke, head injury, or neurological conditions. It does not affect intelligence, memory, or thinking skills, but makes communication difficult. Treatment often involves speech therapy to improve language abilities and help individuals regain their communication skills.
