Dynamin
Dynamin is a protein essential for the process of cellular "scavenging," particularly during the removal and recycling of cell membrane components. It functions like a molecular machine that wraps around the neck of a membrane bubble called a vesicle. When activated, dynamin tightens around this neck like a noose, forcing the membrane to pinch off and form a separate vesicle. This process is vital for functions such as nutrient intake, waste removal, and receptor regulation, helping cells adapt to their environment and communicate effectively.
