Dynamic Range Optimization (DRO)
Dynamic Range Optimization (DRO) is a camera feature that helps balance exposure by automatically adjusting the brightness levels in a photo. When capturing scenes with both very bright and very dark areas, DRO ensures that details in shadows and highlights are visible without losing information. It does this by analyzing the scene and enhancing contrast, brightness, or details in the underexposed and overexposed regions. This results in a well-balanced image that accurately reflects the scene's overall lighting, making photos clearer and more detailed regardless of contrast extremes.
