Dynamic Range
Dynamic range refers to the difference between the darkest and brightest parts of an image or scene. In photography and imaging, it measures how well a camera or display can capture or show details in both shadows (dark areas) and highlights (bright areas) simultaneously. A higher dynamic range means the device can reproduce a wider range of light levels, resulting in more realistic and detailed images. Essentially, it determines how well a system can handle contrasting lighting conditions without losing details in overly bright or dark areas.
