Dymaxion House
The Dymaxion House is an innovative, futuristic home designed by architect Buckminster Fuller in the 1920s-1930s. It features a lightweight, aerodynamic structure made from aluminum and other durable materials, emphasizing efficiency, sustainability, and rapid construction. The design includes a spherical shape for optimal wind resistance, multiple levels, and integrated systems for water and energy use. Its goal was to provide affordable, eco-friendly housing that could be easily mass-produced and transported. Although never widely built, the Dymaxion House remains an influential concept in sustainable architecture and modular design.
