DXCC (DX Century Club)
DXCC, or the DX Century Club, is an international recognition program for amateur radio operators, created by the ARRL (American Radio Relay League). It awards certificates to those who successfully make radio contact with at least 100 different countries around the world. Each country has unique radio callsign prefixes, and contacting stations in diverse locations demonstrates technical skill and global reach. The program encourages operators to communicate beyond their borders, increasing awareness and fostering a global community through radio. Success in DXCC signifies a significant achievement in the hobby of amateur (ham) radio, reflecting one's dedication and experience in making worldwide contacts.
