Dwarf stars

Dwarf stars are common, small to medium-sized stars, including types like red dwarfs and white dwarfs. Red dwarfs are cool, faint stars that burn fuel very slowly, making them long-lasting and stable. White dwarfs are dense remnants of stars that have exhausted their fuel, now slowly cooling over billions of years. Despite their size, dwarf stars play a crucial role in galactic communities—they are numerous, often hosting planets, and help astronomers understand stellar evolution. In essence, they are stars that, due to their smaller size and lower brightness, stand in contrast to larger, more luminous stars like our Sun.
