Dvorak
Dvorak is an alternative keyboard layout designed to improve typing efficiency and comfort compared to the traditional QWERTY layout. Developed by August Dvorak and his colleagues in the 1930s, it places the most frequently used letters and letter combinations on the easiest-to-reach keys, especially under the strongest fingers and on the home row. The goal is to reduce finger movement, decrease fatigue, and increase speed and accuracy. While not as widely adopted as QWERTY, Dvorak has passionate users who find it more ergonomic and efficient for their typing needs.
