Duke's Classification

Duke's Classification is a system used to categorize colorectal cancer based on the extent of the disease. It divides cancer into four stages: - **Stage A**: Tumor is confined to the inner layer of the bowel wall. - **Stage B**: Tumor has grown through the wall but hasn't spread to nearby lymph nodes. - **Stage C**: Tumor has spread to lymph nodes but not to distant sites. - **Stage D**: Cancer has spread to distant organs, such as the liver or lungs. This system helps doctors determine treatment options and predict patient outcomes.
