Duke of Connaught
The Duke of Connaught was a British royal title held by Prince Arthur, the youngest son of Queen Victoria. Created in 1874, it represented his role as a senior member of the royal family and often involved official duties, especially in Canada and the UK. The title honors the region of Connaught (or Connacht) in Ireland. Prince Arthur was known for his dedication to public service, military involvement, and support of charitable work. The title was used during his lifetime, but it is no longer active today.
