Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is the use of computers or digital systems to analyze, modify, and improve signals like sound, images, or data. It involves converting these signals into a digital format, applying mathematical algorithms to enhance or extract information, and then transforming them back into a usable form. DSP is used in applications like noise reduction in audio, image enhancement, telecommunications, and medical imaging.
