DSN (Domain Name System)

The Domain Name System (DNS) is like the internet's phone book. It translates user-friendly website names (like www.example.com) into the numerical IP addresses (like 192.168.1.1) that computers use to identify each other on the network. When you enter a website address, your device contacts a DNS server to look up the corresponding IP address, enabling your browser to connect to the correct server and display the website.
