Drydock

A drydock is a specialized structure used to repair or maintain ships. It is a closed basin or vessel that can be drained of water, allowing the ship to rest on its bottom, making its hull accessible for inspection, repairs, or cleaning. Once work is completed, the drydock is flooded, and the ship is floated out. Drydocks are essential for maintaining large vessels, ensuring they remain seaworthy and safe.
