Dream Theory

Dream theory encompasses various ideas about why we dream. Some suggest dreams process and organize memories, emotions, and experiences from our waking life. Others propose dreams serve to problem-solve, explore subconscious thoughts, or maintain brain health by simulating scenarios. Psychoanalytic theories, like Freud’s, see dreams as expressions of hidden desires. While no single explanation has been universally accepted, most agree that dreams are a complex interplay of neurological activity and psychological functions, offering insight into our subconscious mind and emotional well-being.
