Dream sequence

A dream sequence is a series of images, thoughts, or feelings experienced during sleep, often resembling a story or scenario. They occur during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep and can incorporate memories, fears, desires, or imagination. Dream sequences can be vivid or vague, reality-based or surreal, serving as the mind’s way of processing experiences, emotions, or unresolved issues. In storytelling, a dream sequence is a scene or series of scenes meant to give insight into a character’s subconscious or provide symbolic meaning, often blurring the line between reality and imagination.
